Option 5: OFFSET PRINTING
Purpose: Benefits to the Author/Artist and or Publishing Company in printing offset: print mass quantities, at high quality and cheaper price. Elements Added: Raised lettering, foil, spot gloss, and holographics. Quality is priority. Offset printing is better for printing “true-to-color. In addition paper choice also plays a role in how the color is perceived on the final product. Printing with us gives the author/artists and or publishing company the opportunity to print books with the highest quality at the lowest price. Printing at least 1,000 books allows you to maximize your profit margins. If you prefer quality and can use one thousand books, then offset printing is beneficial.
Bookstores prefer to work with authors/artists and publishing companies that had an offset print run. This is because they want books that are readily available. The discounts from wholesalers are also better on offset print runs versus POD print runs.
A survey commissioned by the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi) found that income from self-published authors increased substantially in 2022 compared to 2021, and that independent authors earn on average more than authors published by traditional houses.
